Reimagining how we care for those who care for others
Who We Are.
The National Nurse Wellbeing Consortium is a growing movement of more than 55 organizations across the country, uniting nurses and healthcare professionals who share a common purpose: to reimagine how we care for those who care for others. Rooted in collaboration and guided by evidence, we are dedicated to advancing nurse wellbeing and research through innovative, multidisciplinary approaches. Together, we cultivate interprofessional communities that uplift, connect, and sustain the people at the heart of healthcare.
What We Do.
We transform research into action and connection into change. Through collaboration, education, and data-driven innovation, we build bridges across disciplines to strengthen the systems that sustain our workforce. Our vision is a future where nurse wellbeing is inseparable from the wellbeing of healthcare itself. Where every nurse feels supported, valued, and empowered to thrive, both personally and professionally.
Approaching the advancement of nurse wellbeing as a shared responsibility embedded within the foundation of healthcare, the National Nurse Wellbeing Consortium brings together interdisciplinary leaders to drive meaningful, systems-level change. Through collaboration and research-informed solutions, we work to ensure nurses feel valued, psychologically safe, and empowered to thrive, strengthening the workforce and the future of healthcare.
